Party in the Garden

This was the enthusiastically embraced, and then not-so-enthusiastically rejected design for an invitation to an important party hosted by a famous modern art gallery. At the last minute, Ed Ruscha was hired to do something. YES. I had a job stolen from me by Ed Ruscha (my hero!). If that’s not a claim to fame, what is? [I’d love to know what he was paid.]

This is another one that has been inexplicably insanely popular.
