The Man Who

In September 2018, the V&A Museum exhibited the musician and innovator Beatie Wolfe’s experiential work as a part of the London Design Festival. To mark this exhibition for Beatie, MOO (cards) agreed to produce a set of design-oriented intelligent cards. The cards used a special NFC-enabled paper stock that connected audiences (via smartphone) to music and content from Beatie’s album, “Raw Space.” I was asked to design one of 9 cards and I chose “The Man Who” (which is a great song).

It seemed to me that the man was trapped in a box of creative block; it was full to the edges, but he couldn’t get out. Happily, the title was 3 words of 3 letters each. Plus tears/rain/blood; and some wires/string/rope.
