Walrus Magazine
Brian Morgan, Art Director of the Canadian magazine The Walrus, asked me to create illustrations for a story about a schizophrenic man who learns to control the voices in his head. Brian asked for something reminiscent of Adolf Wolfli, and suggested that the illustration would crowd around the text on the first page, back off on the 2nd, and be contained by the text on the 3rd. I also made it decreasingly insane on each page. Herewith.
